Hope for Our Daughter, Faith

Faith is a sweet, good-natured eight-year old with Autism.  She attends a special ed class at her elementary school.  In order to motivate her to achieve her full potential, we are running an RDI® Program at home.

"RDI" stands for Relationship Development Intervention.  The RDI® Program is a parent-based intervention program where parents are provided the tools to effectively teach Dynamic Intelligence skills and motivation to their child.  Based on over 20 years of research by world's experts on typical development, as well as scientific studies on people with autism, the RDI® Program is a step-by-step path for people on the autism spectrum to learn friendship, empathy, and a love of sharing their world and experiences with others.

Though the RDI® Program is less expensive than some other intensive therapies for autism, we must still pay US$4000 to pay for the extensive evaluation and follow-up process.  This is on top of all the other expenses involved in caring for an autistic child.  Over the past few years we have brought Faith to many doctors, chiropractors and therapists for different treatments and interventions. These expenses have proven quite a drain on our finances, still we have no choice but to do all we possibly can for our little girl. Her life and her future are at stake; we want to give her a chance to achieve her fullest potential, whatever that may be.
